ok, i've avoided saying anything so far but i can no longer contain my dissatisfaction with what you've chosen to post on your site. u know, i've actually been to your blog more than a few times and i really am very disappointed. this is the second time i've been to this site and have seen a jessica simpson post and i have to say that it is the last time i come here. there are much much more important things going on in the world right now, of which i see no mention on your blog (e.g. current world affairs like the coup in thailand, hugo chavez's great UN speech where he called Bush "The Devil",global warming), all of which would be much more interesting to read your opinions on(and would garner you some actual real visits to the site) than the superficial shit that you have so far decided to devote your energy to reading and posting. I mean, come on...do you really care about this kind of stuff? And why are you even visitng a site called "The Superficial" in the first place? anyway, you'll probalby delete this post, but whatever, this shit is ridiculous. If you have a forum like this then you should use it to voice some real concerns about things that you have and maybe try to educate other people. Or maybe you really are concerned with the life of jessica simpson and guys blow drying their testicles. If you want an example of a blog that is actually interesting, educational, and has the potentital to actually do some good for society then check out Inder's blog at www.demandmore.org. Please take my harsh criticism into consideration.

Dude, I could rant about that shit all day and it wouldn't make much of a difference. I blog about funny shit, stupid shit, and sometimes important shit. Why would I need to throw my opinion that Chavez, though interesting in his opposition stances, has de-legitimized himself to much of the world by making ridiculous statements at the UN? Would you really spend more time at my blog? I mean, I spend some time at my political blogs, like www.talkingpointsmemo.com, and I read historical and political books (Friedman and Crash the Gate, both good books), but I didn't want to blog about that shit. Go to those sites if that's what you want.

Okay, let me be more precise and less defensive.

1) There are plenty of good political blogs.

Most of these have inside information or spend the whole working day gathering information for their blog.

I don't have the ability to provide either of those things.

2) I don't want to spend my time gathering information from other websites.

To merely regurgitate it here.

3) This blog is meant to be a little slice of my views.

For all of my disparate friends around the globe, they can check in and just check out a couple funny stories from my life.

Don't you know me? Do you think of me as a purely political person? Don't you think this website actually accurately reflects my personality?

I will continue to drop little bits of political wisdoms in between my dollops of the sugar that are funny little stories and the lives/bodyparts of famous people.

I am planning a more substantial running piece about how Jersey City is developing, but we'll see if you find that interesting.

i told myself i would never come back here but inder said i should read what you posted. ok, let me put this bluntly....this blog sucks. i do not care if your blog is "political" or not.....but you are a 27 year old man giggling about jessica simpson. just think about that for a moment. and next time you have something to say email it to me, because i do agree that i should not come to your site if i think it sucks. so i won't.
