I Hate the Dodgers
Before the Dodgers spurned Brooklyn for LA, and became the hated LA Dodgers, they flirted with Jersey City!
How strange would that have been for me, to move from lovely San Francisco toting my black and orange, and come to the heart of Jersey City Dodger land?
Man, I'm glad this didn't happen.

the question now is: how far is magowan willing to go to prevent alex rodriguez from signing with the dodgers next season? hopefully pretty far.
alex rodriguez would look nice in black and orange, no? he could go back to shortstop, and perform in front of fans who actually like him.
Well, looks like Cashman's going to use Hicks' money to keep A-Rod around.
The newest big news, of course, is that the Yanks have reversed course on 34 years of history and decided that A-Rod will be the first free agent they will negotiate with during the season.
Of course, if A-Rod just really wants out, then yes, it would be quite awesome if they used the Bonds money to sign A-Rod, and I don't really care where he plays, as long as he does something for that lineup.
(As an aside, I CANNOT believe that Sabean is negotiating an extension. He's run the minor league system into the ground, and filled that team with half-dead vets. Is he still riding the coattails of that World Series appearance?)
